Th e Marine Institute is hiring a Temporary Corporate Services Procurement & Programme
Support Administrative Assistant, working out of our HQ in Rinville, Oranmore, Co. Galway
(subject to COVID-19 requirements). Th is diverse and interesting role will include providing a range of procurement and related programme supports to the Director of Corporate Services and the Tendering &Procurement Coordinator.
Roles and responsibilities will include supporting Programme Communications and Administration; supporting the Tendering and Procurement processes;
assisting with Contracts Management systems and processes; as well as the provision of related governance, audit and finance supports.
To be successful you must demonstrate at least 18-months of relevant work experience providing Administrative and programme support in a busy team environment.
Ideally this will include experience in the area of procurement and you will have proven experience of governance and auditing.
Candidates must demonstrate experience of or proficiency in project reporting and record keeping, ideally to include financial records.
You will be competent in the use of relevant MS Office packages as well as able to use web based soft ware to update website pages and will be able to produce training and information leaflets and materials.
