Managing goods inwards and outwards for a food production / supply unit..

Responsibilities

Ensure all products are rotated and dispatched in date order and they meet quality requirements
Ensure orders are set up and checked in a timely fashion to meet logistic requirements
Vans to be loaded and load checked along with the driver on a daily basis. It is your responsibility to ensure stock is accurate
Any shortages or impending shortages are to be notified to the Factory manager as soon as possible on the same day
Correct labels and paperwork must be used at all times
Accurate dispatch record for all products dispatched must be recorded and available for inspection
Ensure all product and ingredients brought into the factory are put through the system to BRC requirements. All products are then rotated properly when being issued to production. (Sign in orders, stamp all copies of invoice & attach purchase orde
Ensure tracker sheets are completed in an orderly and timely fashion.
All dockets must be left in the office on a daily basis
The forklift is the responsibility of the store person and the filling in of the daily check sheet must be completed every day and the factory manager informed of any issues or non-conformances arising from the checks. Forklift to be filled every M
The stores and intake area must be maintained to a high standard in accordance with BRC regulations at all times
Ensure month-end stock-take is carried out on the last day of every month
