Looking for Rigid and Articulated Lorry Driver

Due to continued expansion Athboy Plant Hire are seeking a Rigid Lorry Driver and Articulated Lorry Driver for low loader work. We are a Plant Hire Company based in Athboy, Co Meath. We also have a depot in Wicklow. Working as part of a busy transport team, our Drivers deal primarily with delivery of plant and access equipment. Must have experience but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities of this position will include:
• On time delivery and collection service·
• Building good working relationships with our clients
• Ensuring that all required documentation is accurately completed.
• Responsible for safety, showing courtesy to other road users and complying with the rules of the road.
• Communication with management in terms of problems, arranging loads, reporting accidents and any other occasions where such contact is necessary.

Ideally, we’re looking for Drivers with the following skills/background:
• Full Clean License essential – Category C
• Full up to date Driver CPC Card
• Safe Pass is necessary.
• 1 year HGV driving experience
• Customer focused and driven
• Ability to solve problems in a fast moving environment
• Good communication skills
• Team player, flexible and have the ability to remain focused whilst under pressure.

Must hold a clean valid HGV License E+C class to apply for this position
