The Scaffolding Manager is responsible for overseeing, monitoring and reporting on the scaffolding element of our live projects as well as managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Review scaffold design issued by the scaffolding contractor ensuring each house type is accounted for prior to a project commencing.
Carry out a detailed take off, of all scaffold requirements for the individual job.
Lead the procurement of Scaffold Materials
Collaborate with the Commercial team in the procurement process of scaffold subcontractors
Meet Scaffolders on site day 1 to agree programme and full scope of the project. Coordinate and report on same going forward.
Oversee and monitor the rotation of scaffold on live sites in conjunction with the Site Manager
Develop a process with the EHS Department to ensure all safety checks are completed in line with our current EHS procedures.
Coordinate all logistics of scaffold to and from all Glenveagh sites
In conjunction with Plant Department, coordinate scaffold stock takes
Develop a maintenance plan for the scaffold inventory
Provide input into overall procurement strategy for
Build and issue Month End Reports detailing commercials and demonstrating scaffold stock is being optimised.

Requirements

Significant experience in a management role within the Construction industry
Excellent operations experience
Experience of managing people, projects and financial elements of a project
Technical experience of Scaffolding
Strong commercial acumen
Strong communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
Quality and safety focused with a keen eye for detail
Strong influencing skills
