DJF Engineering Services Ltd, Consulting Engineers & Project Managers is an independent firm located in Cork.
The practice has maintained a reputation for high quality service over a wide range of projects and to a large client group, including Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Industrial, Commercial, Local Authorities and private clients.
The role fulfilled by DJF includes full Project Management and Engineering of all project stages, including Concept/Feasibility, Local Authority Approvals, Detailed Design, Contractor Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Handover.
We currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team.
The Project Manager will benefit from excellent mentoring and support from our Project Management Team and our designers to deliver projects throughout the industry, across all stages.
The Project Manager will provide key input to all areas of project execution including Health & Safety, Design Team Coordination, Schedule, Quality, Cost, Tendering, Local Authority Approvals, Meetings, Construction Stage Support, and project handover.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Project or Design Engineer, an Architect, or Project Manager, ideally with life sciences/pharmaceutical project experience
Experience to date could include working in a Consultancy, with a Contractor or on the Client side
Qualifications – Structural, Architectural, Civil
Have an understanding of project stages, team roles, standard industry practices and procedures.
An ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment and an ability to produce accurate work to strict project deadlines.
Self-motivated.
Must be able to plan, organise and implement concurrent tasks and projects.
Health & Safety awareness.
Experience of preparing Contract documents and Project Management would be an advantage.
Experience of inspecting construction works.
Perform work in compliance with our Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and team working skills.
Flexible and enthusiastic
Attention to detail and accuracy
Experience of pharmaceutical/industrial projects would be an advantage
Experience of Planning, DAC & FSC applications would be an advantage
