In preparation for an expansion in operations, Links Childcare are offering an opportunity for an experienced ACCA Accounts Technician to join a busy head office team in a full-time role managing the billing and accounts for a number of busy childcare businesses.
Position: Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Start date: Immediate

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is working towards an accounting qualification.
Key responsibilities:
Account management for several busy creches
Calculation and generation on monthly billing
Reconciliation of debtors account
Aged debtor review and credit control
Customers relationship management
Posting of daily bank statements
Monthly bank reconciliation
Monthly balance sheet reporting
Management and processing of childcare funding
Preparation of client Direct Debit files
Ad-hoc duties relating to other roles in the accounts department
Requirements:
2 years’ experience in an accounts environment
Accounts Technician Qualification, ACCA Part-Qualification (or similar)
Ability to work independently to reliably meet monthly reporting deadlines
Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team in a busy and demanding environment
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word
Strong numerical ability
Strong organisational & problem-solving skills
Relevant experience is desirable
