Job Description:
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our project development and implementation process. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and will coordinate the day-to-day operation of the electrical division of the company to include, but not limited to:-
• Scope out and estimate the cost of installation projects and electrical maintenance work
• Perform highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work with electrical systems
• Scheduling work to achieve project completion
• Monitoring the quality of work performed by electricians and assure timely completion of assigned work
• Fault finding and problem resolution
• Daily management, supervision and reporting of direct labour resources, plant, safe execution of works and materials allocations
• Ability to carry out visual inspections of electrical installations and complete full periodic inspections including all testing and reporting as required
• Ensure all site installation operations are carried out in strict compliance with building regulations, national rules for electrical installations, health & safety and environmental standards
• Ensure that clean and organized work environments are maintained
• Train electrical staff including apprentices
• Assist in the preparation of Health & Safety forms as required for day-to-day works on sites
The ideal candidate should have the following:
• Minimum Level 6 of the QQI Certificate in Electrical Craft Practice or equivalent
• Full clean drivers licence
• Extensive knowledge of the electrical industry
• Excellent communication skills, verbal & written, fluent in English
• Experience in team leading
• Experience with CCTV, Access Control, PLC & Automation are an advantage
• Electrical Verification & Certification course with a Qualified Certifier (QC) number would be desirable
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks, hands on when required
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
• Enthusiastic and driven to develop the electrical team
