General Operative required for busy welding/fabricating workshop for immediate start company specialising in fabrication and structural steel. This will be a varied role involving measuring, cutting and drilling steel along with assisting welders in workshop and on site.

Ideally the candidate will require some mechanical knowledge and experience, must be self motivated and a team player with excellent work ethic.

Experience in the following would be an advantage - use of bandsaw and various power tools, holding of safe pass, manual handling cert and forklift experience. Candidate must take responsibility for equipment used and maintain a clean and organised work area whilst maintaining health and safety standards at all times. Have a flexibility to work in varied roles in different areas of manufacturing if required.

This is a fulltime permanent position. Candidate must understand and speak English and hold a full driving license. Salary will be dependent on experience.
