Senior Site Engineer

About the Job

Our client, a leading Tier 2 Main Contractor, are urgently seeking applications for a Senior Site Engineer to join their team. The chosen candidate will be the engineering lead on a large residential project in Co. Wicklow. There are 2x two Story, RC Structure buildings planned for this 40 Million+ Project.

Responsibilities:

- Assist Site Manager with engineering related challenges and decisions on site.
Manage Schedules.
- Lease with Structural Design Engineers and Architects.
- Assess Technical Drawings and specifications to make sure they are fit for project.
- Checking shuttering, steel, and other dimensions prior to concrete pours and maintaining materials reconciliation files.
- Recording all site activities, maintaining a site diary, and managing document uploads to the Document Management System (DMS).
- Supervising directly employed and subcontractor personnel engaged in various construction project elements.
- Adhering strictly to the company’s health and safety, environmental, quality, and other on-site policies and procedures.

Requirements:

- Civil Engineering Degree or Masters
- 5-8 years of work experience with a main building contractor.
- Experience on RC Project's.
- Experience in Residential Type Construction.
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency with surveying instruments and equipment.
- Self-starters with strong problem-solving abilities who thrive in team environments.
