General Foreman

Our client, a leading Tier 2 Main Contractor, are urgently seeking applications from experienced General Foremen to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be working on a "hands-on" Foreman position on a large residential project in Rathdrum, Co Wicklow. This is 40 Million+ project and includes 2x large 2 Storey RC structures. The Foreman will be involved from project kickoff, from groundworks to handover.

What You’ll Do:

- Lead with Authority: Provide strong leadership to site teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across multiple projects.
- Coordinate and Deliver: Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
- Supervise and Manage: Oversee subcontractors, site workers, and tradespeople, ensuring that project milestones and quality expectations are met.
- Quality Control: Monitor progress and workmanship, ensuring that all work meets required standards and adheres to safety regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve site issues promptly, working with project teams to implement effective solutions.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment and information flow.

What You’ll Bring:

- Educational Background: A relevant qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven Experience: Significant experience in a site supervisory role within the construction industry, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Leadership & Organisation: Strong leadership and organisational skills, with a focus on managing teams and coordinating project workflows.
- Excellent Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
