Role Overview:
Our client, a leading Tier 2 Main Contractor, are urgently seeking to hire an experienced Setting-out Engineer to work on a very significant Hotel & Apartment Scheme Project in Dublin City Centre. This a Permanent and Fulltime Position.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in Setting-out work.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate seamless project coordination and communication.
- Assist with the implementation of quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project standards and specifications.
- Assist with technical guidance and support to project teams, addressing engineering challenges and facilitating innovative solutions.
- Assist with the preparation and review of engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with the monitoring of project progress and performance against established milestones, budgets, and KPIs, proactively identifying and addressing deviations or obstacles.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on setting-out work.
- Good Domain knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Solid proficiency in industry-standard software tools, including AutoCAD and project management software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively problem-solve and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
- Results-driven mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
