Site Engineer

About the Job

Our client, a large and leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, are urgently seeking applications for a confident Site Engineer to join their team. The chosen candidate will be working on a very large residential scheme in South Dublin.

Responsibilities:

- Assist Site Manager with engineering related challenges and decisions on site.
Manage Schedules.
- Liaise with Structural Design Engineers and Architects.
- Assess Technical Drawings and specifications to make sure they are fit for project.
- Checking shuttering, steel, and other dimensions prior to concrete pours and maintaining materials reconciliation files.
- Recording all site activities, maintaining a site diary, and managing document uploads to the Document Management System (DMS).
- Supervising directly employed and subcontractor personnel engaged in various construction project elements.
- Adhering strictly to the company’s health and safety, environmental, quality, and other on-site policies and procedures.

Requirements:

- Civil Engineering Degree or Masters
- 3-5 years of work experience with a main building contractor.
- Experience on RC Projects.
- Experience in Residential Type Construction.
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency with surveying instruments and equipment.
- Self-starters with strong problem-solving abilities who thrive in team environments.
