We are seeking a Site Based Project Manager to be part of a team focused in accelerating the adoption energy transition. The role will focus on hands on site management from day one on site through to commissioning and post-installation support. Once mobilized, it is the site managers job, in conference with the project engineer/project manager, to complete the project as efficiently as possible while adhering to budget.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee the day to day operations on the construction site
Electrical/mechanical installation of renewable energy systems
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications and schedules.
Conduct regular site inspection to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Manager site resources, including labour, materials and equipment
Maintain accurate and up-to-date site PSCS documentation
Implement, maintain and enforce good on site QEHS practises
Address any safety concerns promptly and effectively
Management of Subcontractors
Management of Suppliers
Schedule works programs
Stakeholder Communication - Liaise with clients, engineers and other stakeholders.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed
Technical support to customers
Understand and delivery project SOW
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports and safety records.
Report to PM and senior management as required
Assist in any other duties which may encompass the role

The Ideal Candidate will

Proactively develop technical skills and knowledge as to keep pace with new developments
Demonstrate an open, positive attitude to learning and developing a broad range of skills
Share knowledge and impart skills to other team members
Stay abreast of trends in relevant industry fields
Flexibility to travel & overnight as required is a must
Have a strong Understanding of Health and Safety requirements

Experience and Qualifications

Previous Site Supervision/Management is required
Safe pass, manual handling, are a minimum, MEWP, First aid, Confined space, Abrasive Wheels, Hot works & Working at height etc. would be an advantage
Subcontractor management & schedule is a key requirement
Roofing, Scaffolding, PCSC experience
2+ Years of site management
Full Clean Driving License
Knowledge of renewable energy systems Solar PV, Wind Turbines, Biomass Boilers would be an advantage
Electrical design of renewable systems would be an advantage
Grid Connection Experience would be an advantage
