A leading organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Farm Sustainability Lead to help drive their sustainability initiatives. This role is key to supporting their farmer-suppliers in achieving ambitious sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and represent the organization at farmer and stakeholder meetings at both local and national levels.
Co-ordinate and oversee farm sustainability programs such as the Greener Dairy Program.
Manage the sustainability bonus program and engage with key stakeholders to ensure success.
Work closely with agricultural research organizations and local farmer networks to ensure best practices and innovation in sustainability.
Manage and mentor a farm sustainability team, fostering a positive work culture focused on collaboration and development.
Lead initiatives focused on improving farm sustainability and share expertise with external partners, aligning with industry standards and guidelines.

Essential Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, or a related field, with a strong interest in sustainability.
Proven experience in advising or consulting with farmers and primary producers, helping them integrate sustainable practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify and explain complex sustainability concepts.
Strong team player with networking skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
