Role Overview:
We are seeking a Qualified Senior Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a critical role in ensuring the maintenance, repair, and overall performance of vehicles, with a focus on quality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and servicing (e.g., PDIs, first and second services) in line with manufacturer specifications.
Conduct warranty repairs within prescribed timeframes.
Accurately clock on/off job cards digitally during servicing.
Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues in collaboration with the Service Manager & diagnostic mechanic.
Stay up to date with technical information and procedures via the Technical Board.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop bay, adhering to all health and safety standards.
Assist apprentice mechanics and support their training and development.
Communicate with Service Advisors and Managers regarding additional work or parts required, ensuring customer approval is obtained.
Complete job cards with detailed and accurate notes on work performed.
Road test, wash, and vacuum vehicles upon completion of repairs.
Attend training sessions with SEAT and CUPRA to stay current on advancements in the field.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a qualified mechanic qualification with relevant certifications to be considered for this role.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably with VW Group vehicles.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using diagnostic and servicing tools/software.
Commitment to maintaining high-quality work and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet customer and business needs.
Candidates must have a valid work permit in Ireland.
Must be able to speak and write English proficiently
