As replacement of current employee, due to moving, we are looking for an Office Administrator (accountant) who is, passionate & committed to joining our team. You will responsible of the admin of the office in the broadest sense. You will work closely with all staff members across Ireland and abroad.
The job can be a good mixture of ‘in-office’ and ‘at home’ work. And looking for someone for +/- 20 hrs per week.
Responsibilities and Duties:
General office administration
Dealing with Email & Phone Queries
Filing & maintaining documents, planning & rosters.
Supporting team with ad-hoc administrative duties
Data Entry
Preparation of Management Accounts
Assisting with project and quality reporting (ISO)
Monthly reporting to strict deadlines
Audit file preparation
Monthly Payroll
Creditor’s ledger, debtor’s ledger, bank reconciliations, revenue returns, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
Have a proficient background in MS Office tools (MS Outlook, Excel & Word).
Have experience with SURF / BRIGHT
Affinity with the port and shipping industry
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
An ability to learn company-specific software as required.
A hands-on approach with strong work ethic and the ability to work on your own initiative
Have a highly organised, flexible and proactive approach to task workload
High Level of attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An enthusiastic person able to work under pressure
