Site Engineers x 3
We are urgently seeking experienced 3 x Site Engineers for an exciting new and innovative residential project in Dublin 8.
We’re partnering with a leading Tier 2 Main Contractor to fill these key roles for a 416-unit housing development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surveying and Setting Out: Conduct site surveys, set out reference points, and establish benchmarks to guide construction activities accurately.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality standards by conducting inspections, tests, and assessments. Address any deviations from project specifications promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of construction activities.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address engineering issues on-site, proposing solutions and adjustments as necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including site diaries, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
- Health and Safety: Enforce and adhere to health and safety regulations on-site, promoting a culture of safety among the project team.
- Materials Management: Coordinate the delivery, storage, and usage of construction materials, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field desirable
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficient in surveying and setting out using total stations and other surveying equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD and project management software
