Site Manager – Dublin (Residential Project)

Our client, a leading and expanding Tier 2 main contractor, is urgently seeking a site managers for s large residential projects in Dublin.


Responsibilities:

- Manage projects on-site from start to completion.
- Assist in developing, planning, and implementing project programmes.
- Identify manpower requirements and ensure resources are available when needed.
- Oversee the management of subcontractors and direct employees on-site.
- Consult and liaise with subcontractors regarding the programme.
- Control variations in collaboration with the Quantity Surveyor.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, Fire Regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Maintain high levels of Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards on-site.
- Ensure all finishing work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Oversee Site Health & Safety in consultation with the H&S Manager.
- Attend and report at site meetings.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and surveyors.
- Perform any other duties related to the efficient management of the project.


Requirements:

- Third-level degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Site Management role with a main contractor.
- Strong skills in planning, project management, organization, and teamwork.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- High competency in writing and maintaining professional documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, staff, and subcontractors.
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
