Setting-out Engineer_Dublin 8

We are urgently seeking 4 x Setting-out Engineers for an exciting new residential project in Dublin 8.
We’re partnering with a leading Tier 2 Main Contractor to fill these key roles for a 416-unit housing development.


Responsibilities:

- Engage in Setting-out work.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, subcontractors,
and regulatory authorities, to facilitate seamless project coordination and communication.
- Assist with the implementation of quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to
verify compliance with project standards and specifications.
- Assist with technical guidance and support to project teams, addressing engineering challenges
and facilitating innovative solutions.
- Assist with the preparation and review of engineering documentation, including drawings,
specifications, and technical reports, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with the monitoring of project progress and performance against established milestones,
budgets, and KPIs, proactively identifying and addressing deviations or obstacles.



Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on setting-out
work.
- Good Domain knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials,
with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Solid proficiency in industry-standard software tools, including AutoCAD and project
management software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively problem-solve and
make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse
stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
- Results-driven mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within
budget.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and work effectively in a dynamic and fast-
paced environment.


Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
