Childcare Practitioner / Room Leader afternoon position

This position is aimed at a childcare professional who has achieved a minimum level 5/6 Qualification in Childcare (any applicants without this minimum qualification will not be considered for the role).

The successful candidate will be working alongside: The Manager, and two other Childcare Practitioners in our Afterschool – Leap Frog located in Bohernabreena Community Enterprise.

The role will entail:

Working in partnership with other staff members based in the After-school club between 1.45 pm and 6 pm.

Organising collections and supervising children during the afterschool collection from Holy Rosary.

Helping children with homework.

Facilitating play.

Supporting interactions through, one to one time and small group activities.

Maintaining the environment.

Have excellent communication skills.

Be able to work as part of a team and work off your own initiative.

Be able to document the activities, cleaning and general admin associated with the role.
