Balmer Executive Search is proud to partner with Cystic Fibrosis Ireland in the search for a suitably qualified Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator. The successful candidate will focus on Digital Marketing for fundraising, seeking to maximise participation in events, funds raised and donations, in addition to being product champion within fundraising for the relational database, ensuring access to all relevant contacts is maintained within GDPR guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager the selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties –

Digital Marketing

    Responsible for Digital Marketing for the Fundraising Team to maximise recruitment for CFI fundraising events and motivate people to fundraise for and donate to Cystic Fibrosis Ireland
    Development of content for all Digital Marketing activity including securing testimonials and stories from past supporters and CFI ambassadors
    Creation of content / layout for promotional materials required by the fundraising team to include brochures, flyers and printed materials for all fundraising events / campaigns and organisation of printing of same with printing suppliers
    Use all relevant Social Media Channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google AdWords / Analytics to promote fundraising events and campaigns
    Design CFI fundraising banners and posters for Website / Facebook and other communications using In Design software
    Maximise CFI use of tools to promote fundraising across relevant fundraising platforms including Just Giving, iDonate, GoFundMe etc.
    Create relevant and inspiring messaging / content to support CFI fundraising events / campaigns on Social Media / Website / Printed materials that maximizes response in terms of recruitment of participants for events and support for CFI in relation to volunteering, fundraising and donations
    Create Digital Marketing plans that look to maximise the return for CFI from major fundraising events and campaigns to include proposed content, channels, timelines, frequency of content etc.

Relational Database

    Product champion for the CFI relational database within the fundraising team ensuring new contacts added in a consistent format, existing data maintained and updated as appropriate with access to all relevant contacts by email, text and post within GDPR guidelines.
    Issue regular E-Zines via MailChimp in relation to fundraising events and campaigns, extracting up to date email lists of all relevant contacts from the CFI relational database within GDPR guidelines.
    Issue web text campaigns via text republic as appropriate for fundraising events / campaigns, extracting up to date text lists of all relevant contacts within the CFI relational database within GDPR / Comreg guidelines.
    Extract mailing lists of all relevant contacts required for mail-outs to support fundraising events and campaigns from the CFI relational database within GDPR guidelines.

General

    To support all communication in relation to fundraising events and campaigns which may include out of hours work during major campaigns with time off in lieu provided as per CFI policy.
    To create and implement Digital Marketing plans for key fundraising events and campaigns as assigned by the Fundraising Manager.
    To work with the Fundraising Manager and Fundraising Team on all areas required to achieve the Fundraising Targets
    Support development of opportunities for Digital / Online Giving including Online Campaigns to support fundraising campaigns and Facebook Giving
    Manage Legacy Giving for CFI including online content and promotion of legacy giving in conjunction with and their My Legacy campaign.
    Working with the Fundraising Manager to secure corporate sponsorship for events, recruiting corporate teams for events and organising dedicated corporate FR events

Person Specification

    Minimum 3 years previous experience working within a Digital Marketing role as part of a fundraising team with a proven track record of driving fundraising income through implementation of motivational Digital Marketing content across relevant channels
    Third level Marketing qualification and /or Digital Marketing qualification an advantage
    Proven ability to build, manage and develop key stakeholder relationships
    Experience in the area of fundraiser and donor recruitment and retention
    Digital Marketing skills to include social media management (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Website, Mailchimp etc.,) and digital campaign management
    Proven ability to create compelling content to motivate people to fundraise and donate in support of a charity
    Experience working with a Relational Database developing, managing and extracting email, text and post mailing lists within GDPR guidelines.
    Strong project management and team-playing skills with an ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
    High class communication and interpersonal skills

Remuneration

Salary

    €35,000 – €38,000 DOE (Depending on Experience)
