St. Francis Hospice Dublin is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation, which provides a comprehensive range of specialist palliative care services to patients and their families living in North Dublin and the surrounding counties, from two hospices located in Blanchardstown and Raheny. Established in 1989, St Francis Hospice Dublin serves a population of circa 660,000 people. Between its two sites the hospice employs 290 staff who are supported by 300 volunteers.

Director of Nursing
We are seeking a Director of Nursing with an understanding of and a strong commitment to the culture, core values and philosophy of the hospice, which is based on the belief that each patient and their family members should be treated with kindness, compassion, dignity and respect. The Director of Nursing will have the essential strategic insight, leadership and interpersonal skills necessary to work in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer to lead, enable and support the provision of existing services as well as the development of new services to meet emerging needs.
