In Choice Childcare we believe that learning can only come through fun and play. We offer a comprehensive early years’ service that values the child as being the centre of everything that we do. Having choices in their learning and working in partnership with their teachers, the child builds the core values and tools necessary to be confident and competent learners. They help us build our weekly curriculum plans and their decision making skills help develop our everyday activity plans.

We have 4 early years centres in Walkinstown, Saggart, Newcastle and Celbridge so we offer career opportunities to our educators and we recognise, value and support our teams as a matter of priority.

We are now looking to expand our team here at Choice Childcare Newcastle working alongside an experienced, fun and supportive early years teaching team.

Job Description

You will need to be passionate about the early years, have a great attitude to and understanding of child development and the importance of play. You will receive a full job Description upon application for the post. Requirements

·Minimum Level 6 qualification in Childcare

·Level 7 or 8 is advantageous

·First Aid trained { but if due recap, this can be discussed }

Children first certificate

Haccp certificate

Have a good understanding of the preschool regulations, Aistear curriculum and Siolta framework.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

·Manage, the day to day running’s of your designated room/work space, from managing curriculum plans, to following up on observations, maybe occasionally, filling in, HSE reports, for children with additional needs, amongst other Covid-19 policies now in place, cleaning procedures etc.
