The project manager role, based in Digital Change, is critical to the successful delivery of projects – designed to enhance patient safety, operational efficiency, customer experience and/or support new business initiatives.
Developing detailed project plans – working with colleagues from clinical, nursing, finance/ admin and IT – setting goals, project milestones and completion plans
Completion of project risk assessments – updating of risk profile throughout lifetime of the project
Ensuring resource availability and allocation
Delivering projects on time within budget and Managing teams including third party vendors and colleagues (including contracted resources re integration/ middleware and database management)
Managing project change – scope, timelines, budget – over life time of a project
Assisting colleagues/ advising on development of test plans (including scripts to support user acceptance testing)
Supporting colleagues in development of preparation of capex approval submissions for new projects
Handover of new projects to Service Delivery
Regular progress reporting to relevant stakeholders – leading regular meetings as may be required
Measuring benefits realisation in respect of projects
Learning and Education
Take personal responsibility for own professional development
Attend and participate in staff development programmes on an ongoing basis and share knowledge with other staff members
Assist in the training of colleagues where required.
Quality Improvement and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with all relevant Hermitage Medical Clinic guidelines, policies, procedures and relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
The role holder will perform other duties appropriate to the post as may be assigned to him/her from time to time by their line manager
Minimum of 4 years’ operating as a project manager
Experience of enterprise-wide applications and cloud computing
Knowledge of integration/ middleware
Experience of managing multiple projects in parallel
Experience in practical application of project management methodologies
