Our Client is currently recruiting for an office-based Technical Salesperson to join their team. They are looking for an extremely organised and adaptable person to work from their office in Swords. Someone who can work on their own initiative within a small company. This person will be involved with the selling of their products, providing support and recommendations to customers and general administrative duties.

Advantageous – Someone with technical ability. Previous experience working with a water projects company or a Graduate engineer looking to progress into a more technical sales orientated role.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and process sales orders for products, liaising with suppliers around stock availability for ordered items
Provide recommendations to customers in the area of process instrumentation engineering such as Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature and Water analytics products.
Assist with technical literature for customers where needed
Research and stay up to date with new products and innovations in the marketplace
Cultivate relationships with existing customers and suppliers to promote business and sales
Processing sales quotes and issuing invoices.
Dealing with customers order queries over the telephone professionally and efficiently
Stock Control on Quick Books, Creating Purchase Orders and carrying out stock checks.
Performing other general administration duties such as filing, photocopying, note taking, sending of e-mails and communications.
To contribute to and manage elements of projects to ensure timely completion of project objectives.
Organising and preparing items for distribution.
Assisting with other ad-hoc administrative and project requirements including reporting.
Manage and log expenses, meetings and appointments
Generation of Project Documentation.
Adhere fully to all safety policies, procedures and regulations issued. Meet regulatory and operational requirements in line with pharmaceutical industry standards.
Work in a team environment or under own initiative to deliver projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Necessary training will be provided to help you perform and grow in your role
Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in this field is not a requirement but would be preferential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter with ability to work on own initiative
A keen eye for detail
A good level of computer literacy, M/S packages and sales software packages
Excellent verbal and written English

Hours can be flexible if required, remuneration will depend upon experience and will be discussed individually.
