Site Managers – Dublin & Galway

Burns Construction & Civil Engineering Ltd, a well established Construction Company
in Galway, requires experienced site managers for sites in Dublin and Galway.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum 6/7 years experience managing construction
projects

General Duties

• Responsible for the overall safe and efficient management of the site/project
• Actively promote a positive safety culture in the team and on site.
• Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support
the team’s ongoing development and progression, and have the ability to
communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company
• Co-ordinate and manage contractors on site
• Submit project reports to management about project progress and areas of risk
that need to be escalated
Attributes considered key to the position are:
• Preferably have an engineering qualification
• Minimum 6/7 years experience managing construction projects
• Good knowledge of services and coordination of same
• Keen eye for finishes
• Capable of delivery of project on time and within budget
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as a strong team player
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent Planning and organisation skills
